Chairman Con Bunde call the House Health, Education and Social

Committee members present at the call to order were Representatives            
Bunde, Vezey, Porter and Dyson.  Representative Brice arrived at

SUMMARY OF INFORMATION                                                         
                                                                               
DEBRA M. RUSSELL, President, Brain Injury Association of Alaska,               
discussed some of the problems people with brain injuries are                  
currently experiencing in the state of Alaska and presented some               
statistics.                                                                    
                                                                               
RICHARD WARRINGTON, Vice President, Brain Injury Association of                
Alaska, discussed grant monies that are available and requested the            
support of the legislature in qualifying for these grants.
